Inside the Red Hobbit, the extent of the craftsmanship and detail come into focus. Enter the iconic hand built round door to the open kitchenette and spacious dining area on bar stool seating at the kitchen island and bar top table. The kitchenette features, Refrigerator, toaster-oven, 2-burner electric cooktop, microwave, coffee maker and all of the cookware and dinnerware you need. The adjacent living room has a decorative real stone fireplace with electric Log insert to enjoy while sitting on the couch streaming your favorite program or game on the 55'' flat screen smart TV connected to high speed, fiber optic Wi-Fi.
Two private bedrooms: One has a queen memory foam mattress, the 2nd private bedroom has a hand built twin over full bunk bed. Both are memory foam beds. The bedrooms share the beautiful full bathroom with amazing custom walk-in tile shower with a broad rain shower head and hand wand.
Outside is a park style charcoal grill, built in campfire pit with seating for toasting s'mores and an outdoor dining picnic table to enjoy the nice sunset view.
Centrally located to all of Red River Gorge's activities including Redpoint BBQ, Rockhouse, climbing areas Muir Valley, Cliffview Preserve, Beer Trailer Crag, Roadside, coffee shop boulder area, and Ash Branch. The sign-up office for The Red River Gorge Zip-Line, Off Road Jeep & side-by-side tours, and Cliffview Cafe are all a short walk from Red Hobbit. Hollerwood Off-road Park is a short drive away.
Access is very easy for 2-wd vehicles on paved roads to a pull-off style gravel parking area with room for 2 vehicles. *** being next to a main road, parking space is very strict so please call ahead if this is a concern or additional room for trailer(s) is desired. ***

*** Accessing Red Hobbit is as quick and easy access to the areas activities as it gets. As such, this house is not ideal for guests seeking a quiet or private outdoor setting. It is next to the main access road for Cliffview Resort and The RRG Zip-Line, therefore vehicle traffic and occasional off-road traffic and noise during peak season should be expected to be steady all day and into the evening. Having said that, being an earth-shelter dwelling, the inside of the house is very private, cozy and surprisingly quiet.***
This house shares a parking pull-off with a private residence and parking for each houses is separated by a private storage shed. Parking for Red Hobbit is adjacent to the house. Parking on the other side of the shed is for the neighboring house residents only.
