Hiker's Cabin! Away From It All! Must hike here, 80 foot elevation change, but worth it!
Looking to be secluded and away from it all! Look no further- Bird Nest Cabin is for healthy, active people. Located in the Quiet Waters area but away from it all by a private hiking path with 80 foot elevation change. Bird Nest sits near a cliff line and heavily forested. Pack light as it is a steep hike up to cabin. This is a cozy get away for two healthy people who like to hike. Perfect place (near the heart of it all but completely private and in nature) to take a break while not spending a lot. It has everything you need so pack light. Once you get here you're surrounded by nature with your own private deck. There is a small kitchenette, dining area and loveseat. TV for DVD's, bathroom with shower. The bedroom is up a ladder to a sleeping loft with queen bed. There is a somewhat steep ladder to get to this bedroom. Downstairs is the living area & kitchenette. The loveseat is too small to sleep on. Outside is a firepit, but you'll need to pack up your own firewood. Located near Natural Bridge State Park, about half a mile from trails, Hoe Down Island and the swimming pool.
Cabin comes with refrigerator/freezer, AC, coffee maker, small 2 burner hot plate, microwave, utensils, cups, plates, pots & pans. There is a deck with gas grill.
IT IS A 5 MINUTE HIKE STRAIGHT UP ON A PRIVATE TRAIL! Just recommended for people in shape to make the hike with your luggage/gear/food. Pet Permitted.
Our cabins are in rural areas and therefore the wi-fi and cell phone service often may not be as reliable as you are accustomed. Visit Daniel Boone Coffee Shop just down the road if you're unable to pick up wi-fi.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by the person listed on the reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival date and a $50 cancellation fee is applied. If a reservation is canceled within 3 weeks of arrival, money received will be forfeited unless cabin is re-rented for the same number of nights. You may choose to reschedule your visit one time if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival for small cabin or 21 days if large cabin. Scenic Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, someone in your party “backing out”, etc
Deposit Policy
A credit card is required to be on hold in case of damage. Renters paying by credit card may pay the full amount at time of reservation or pay half on card at time of reservation and half 3 weeks prior to trip. Online bookings require full credit card payment upfront. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and checks. Renters wishing to pay by check may do so by submitting check 3 weeks prior to arrival date. We reserve the right to require a credit card to hold the cabin, to cover damages, or to charge for “illegal or non-disclosed” pets or for non-compliance of trash policy. People paying by check without a credit card or using pre-paid credit card may pay the extra $350 upfront and this money will be returned once cabin has been inspected. We do not share any credit information with any customers or third parties, all credit card information is kept private.
